Funerals
Shire horses supplied by Tony Bull can be used to transport your loved ones, as part of our funeral services. Whilst I am a Funeral Director myself, you are of course welcome to use your own family firm if you so wish.
You will find that we offer far more flexibility for families than a traditional Churchyard or Crematorium and naturally will do our best to accommodate any special requests you may have. We hold funerals 6 days a week

Burial Plots
If you would like to reserve adjoining spaces for family members and loved ones, spaces for burials may be pre-purchased. Please enquire about how you can reserve your place in Much Hoole Woodland Burial Ground.
Prices per grave
1 or 2 deep are £2,900
3 deep are £3,000
Cremations
We also offer you the choice of a cremation plot, if you wish to have your loved one at peace in the woodland burial ground.
There are other specially designated areas for cremated remains. One area is designed so that Ashes can be buried around Yew trees and a sloping tablet placed on top. The other area is more traditional, where a vase and inscription can be placed.
Prices for Ashes Plot
1 or 2 deep ranges from £500 to £1350 depending on location chosen.
Funeral Plans
We understand that you may wish to take care of the cost of your funeral, knowing that everything is taken care for. With this in mind, funeral plans are available upon request.
Apart from caskets, all other coffin types are permitted. There are natural alternatives to traditional wooden coffins. It may be that you would prefer to be laid to rest in a coffin made from wool.
